Brief Intro

Dr. Ribeiro, who is Board Certified in Cardiology, was most recently a Professor Medicine and Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. He received his Medical Degree in 1977 from Universidade do Porto in Porto, Portugal, and his Ph.D. from Universidade Nova De Lisboa in 1992. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship in Cardiology at Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London, England, in 1984. He is also a fellow in the American College of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology. Dr. Ribeiro has published 130 manuscripts and 34 papers in peer-reviewed cardiology journals. In addition, Dr. Ribeirio has published seven book chapters, including one in Dr. Eric Topol’s Textbook of Interventional Cardiology. He has been a reviewer for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, British Heart Journal, American Journal of Cardiology and European Heart Journal.
