Dr. Lessem provides psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I am a trained Psychoanalyst through the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute. I offer the full range of psychotherapy from supportive to intensive and psychoanalysis. I provide my own psychotherapy for patients. I offer psychotherapy tailored to the needs of my patients based upon a thorough understanding of their conflicts and needs. I do not refer patients for therapy outside my practice; all therapy is done here. I believe in doing my own psychotherapy and I am a psychoanalyst trained through the Michigan Psychoalanalytic institute. I believe this training gives me an excellent understanding of people, therapy, and what medications to select for them. I make use of a variety of psychotherapies. I also do consultations for small organizations, marital therapy, and couples therapy. I treat patients ranging from late adolescents to geriatric.
