Dr. Kolkman attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. During his studies, he was amazed at the impact surgery had on people. Being the type of person that likes to fix things with his hands, he decided to specialize in general surgery. He completed his residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Today, he is a general surgeon at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
