Dr. Hansen graduated from the University of Washington. He later completed his general surgery residency and fellowship at the University of San Francisco. Dr. Hansen also studied Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at the Royal College of Medicine in London. He has been featured in Portland Monthly Magazine’s "Top Docs" issue for three consecutive years and is the Program Director of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery for Providence Portland Medical Center. Dr. Hansen is also a member of several organizations including the American College of Surgeons, the Pacific Coast Surgical Association and the Portland Surgical Society. Dr. Hansen treats his patients at The Oregon Clinic, Gastrointestinal and Minimally Invasive Surgery (GMIS) division.
