Patrick Fernicola received his undergraduate and medical degrees respectively from Georgetown University and Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
He completed his internship and orthopaedic residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Ft. Lewis, Washington.
Dr. Fernicola served in the United States Army for thirteen years, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Martin Army Community Hospital. While at Ft. Benning, Georgia, Dr. Fernicola received specialty training in shoulder surgery and sports medicine at Hughston Clinic.
Dr. Fernicola is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in orthopaedic shoulder surgery, sports medicine and adult reconstructive surgery.
