He was named the “Outstanding Graduate Resident” from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he completed his fellowship in Anesthesiology. In 2003, Dr. Waring was named as one of only 43 instructors in the prestigious Spine Intervention Society where he continues to serve as a senior instructor. He is a forerunner in the practice of interventional pain medicine and respected for his success in treating spine pain through non-narcotic, non-surgical, minimally invasive techniques, all expertly performed under fluoroscopic x-ray guidance. Thousands of patients visit the Pain Intervention Center every year suffering from neck pain, back pain, degenerative joint conditions, whiplash, and even painful job-related and personal injury.
