Dr. Patrick C. Burke joined Stevens Community Medical Center in May of 1987 after completing his residency in Family Medicine at Mercy and St. Luke's Hospitals in Davenport, Iowa. He received his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Chemistry, from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa. Before entering medical school, he pursued graduate level studies in analytical chemistry at the University of Iowa. He attended medical school at the University of Iowa, receiving his doctorate degree in 1984. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. Burke's practice encompasses the full spectrum of family medicine, including obstetrics. He is an attending physician at the University of Minnesota, Morris Health Services. He is the Medical Director of Behavior Medicine. He serves as a member of the peer review committee His leisure time interests are family oriented and include fishing and hunting. He is an adult leader of the Morris Boy Scout and Cub Scout Troop. He also serves as a teacher for the Assumption Parish High School religious education program. His wife, Carol, is a physical therapist. They have three children, Michael, Sarah, and James.
