Dr. McGrann enjoys cooking for her family. When the weather is good, she can be found in her gardens. She is the fourth generation of avid gardeners in her family and will go to almost any length to "rescue" plants. As a result. she has some pretty interesting perennials some that have been passed from her grandmother and mother. She also loves to read and to do needlepoint.
