Prior to joining JFK Neuroscience Institute in 2004, I served as the associate director of the pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric critical care medicine fellowship program at the New Jersey Children’s Hospital, New Jersey.
One of the earliest programs in pediatric hospital and critical care medicine at a community hospital was developed under my leadership and remains a training center for hundreds of family medicine and neurology residents who have been a part of the academic programs at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey
I continue to practice as a board certified pediatrician, pediatric critical care and pediatric hospital medicine physician. I remain a fellow of the College of Chest physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics. I am also a member of several other medical societies and organizations. I have co-authored research publications and medical books in pediatrics including a pediatric board review text.
