Nicole Chaumont, MD, FACS, is a colon and rectal surgeon at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, and MedStar Health Bel Air Medical Campus. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive approaches in the management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) and colon and rectal cancers. Her use of laparoscopic and robotic surgery techniques optimize the patient experience, recovery process, and outcomes. Additionally, Dr. Chaumont serves as MedStar Health’s regional vice chair of quality, safety, and outcomes. She earned her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
