Dr. Mandalakas graduated from Penn State University in 1983 and Jefferson Medical College in 1985. His residency in Internal Medicine was done at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. After a general Cardiology fellowship at Medical College of Pennsylvania, he completed a fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at Tufts/New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Mandalakas is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He sat successfully in 1991 for the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE) special examination for competence in Cardiac Pacing. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of NASPE. Dr. Mandalakas joined Cardiac Consultants in 1991.
