Cardiologist Niall Patrick Madigan, M.D., is a member of the Kalispell Regional Medical Center medical staff and practices with Rocky Mountain Heart and Lung.
Dr. Madigan joined the team at Rocky Mountain Heart and Lung in 2008, following nearly three years practicing with Glacier Cardiovascular Consultants in Whitefish. He was a consultant cardiologist with Deaconess Billings Clinic from 2001 through 2005, serving first as chairman of the Department of Cardiology, then medical director of the Women’s Heart Advantage clinic and medical director of the education department.
Dr. Madigan is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians, and holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases.
He was born in London, England, where he completed his medical studies at Middlesex Hospital Medical School following undergraduate work at Trinity College of Oxford University. He completed his physician internship at Middlesex Hospital and his surgical internship at Central Middlesex Hospital. His residencies in internal medicine and as an advanced clinical resident in cardiovascular diseases both were carried out at Mayo Clinic’s Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Madigan later earned a Master of Science degree in business administration from Bucknell University.
Dr. Madigan and his wife live in Kalispell, and have five children.
