CHISM, Jr. MD is BOARD CERTIFIED in OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGYDr. Chism was accepted at Medical College of Georgia, from which he graduated and then completed 1 year of family practice residency and 4 years of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Medical Center of Central Georgia.In December 1978, he came to Dublin, Georgia. At that time, there were only 17 physicians in town and a high demand for family practice and obstetrics and gynecology physicians. He practiced for 13 years before he was able to only practice obstetrics and gynecology, which is his passion. For the last 24 years, Dr. Chism has strictly been practicing OB/GYN and looks forward to all of the years to come!Dublin is 'home' for Dr. Chism. He is very passionate and devoted to serving his community. Dr. Chism was truly called to practice medicine, and he has dedicated his whole adult life to caring for countless patients for 40 years. His love for his patients, Dublin, and the surrounding communities shows daily in his smile and the drive that he has to meet the health care needs of his patients. He has so much pride in all of the babies that he has had the pleasure of delivering.
