He completed his undergraduate degree in biological sciences at Old Dominion University and earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School where he also completed an internal medicine internship. His post-graduate training also includes a diagnostic radiology residency at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia followed by a pediatric diagnostic radiology fellowship at The Children??s Hospital of Philadelphia.
