Dr. Naseer Chowdhrey earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Government Medical College, Srinagar, at the University of Kashmir, India. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Nassau County Medical Center, SUNY Stony Brook. Dr. Chowdhrey completed his Residency in Neurology at Stony Brook University Hospital. He served as a Fellow in Sleep Medicine at the JFK Neuroscience Institute of Seton Hall University in New Jersey, and in Epilepsy/EEG and Parksinson’s Disease/Movement Disorders at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Chowdhrey has practiced Neurology in the Capital Region for the past several years and serves as an Attending Neurologist at Ellis Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Chowdhrey is also a member of the American Epilepsy Society, The Movement Disorder Society and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
