In 1992, Dr. Galerkin began his private practice with medication management and a history of psycho-dynamic psychotherapy. This evolved into his current practice, which only includes mental health diagnostics and medication management. Dr. Galerkin's office accepts the following health care insurers: Aetna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, MHN, United Health Care, United Behavioral Health, Magellan, Value Options, Delta Health Care, Sutter Select, and Western Health Advantage. All patients are given office policies upfront and they are posted on my website. * Communication is key and during your appointment I encourage you to ask questions and we will work together to come up with a treatment plan that works for you. *A 24 hour notice is required for cancellations. * I give enough refills to get to the next appointment. I only charge for refills if a patient does not come to their appointment and then requests a refill. * I do require monthly appointments for patients receiving schedule2 medications. These medications can be addictive and it is a DEA Requirement to see the patient before prescribing these medications. I care about my patients well being and feel it is important for their safety.
