Dr. LaRoe graduated in 1993 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. LaRoe completed a Family Medicine Residency in 1996. Dr. LaRoe's past experience in Family Medicine allows her to understand the connection between medical issues and one's mental health. She does not currently practice Family Medicine. In 2004, she returned to residency training in Psychiatry. Dr. LaRoe completed her residency training in Psychiatry in 2007 at Univ of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
