Dr. Michael S. Nall grew up in Ashland, Kentucky. He graduated from Millersburg Military Institute in 1956. Soon thereafter, he began his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in anatomy and physiology in 1960. That same year, he entered the University of Kentucky Medical School, graduating in 1965. He also attended graduate school at the University in psychology in 1963.
Dr. Nall moved to Louisville, Kentucky, after graduation where he completed a rotating internship at St. Joseph’s Infirmary and two years of pediatric residency at the University of Louisville where he received the Robert Spurling award for outstanding pediatric resident. Following his residency, he became the first allergy fellow at the University of Louisville. After serving two years in the Army where he was Director of the Pediatric Allergy Clinic at Ireland Army Hospital at Fort Knox, Kentucky, he entered private practice in Louisville.
He is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics and a diplomat of the American Board of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Nall and his wife, Jody, have been married since 1964 and have two daughters and two granddaughters. He enjoys playing golf and fishing. He has also been active in his church spending some time in the mission field.
