Brief Intro

Dr. Chen attended Brigham Young University and received a degree in molecular biology. He then completed medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Subsequent to a transitional internship in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Chen did his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University. After residency, Dr. Chen completed an interventional spine and pain fellowship through the Utah Center for Pain Management and Research in Provo, Utah. Dr. Chen founded Alta Pain Physicians in 2010.
