Dr. Megan J. Engelen, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Purdue University, followed by her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri.
After completing medical school, Dr. Engelen completed an Internal Medicine residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina where she was recognized for her outstanding work. Dr. Engelen spent the next two years as a Hospitalist specializing in the treatment of critically ill and other hospitalized patients.
Dr. Engelen has authored articles on the treatment of tobacco dependence for academic literature. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.
