Dr. Jensen received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, completed a pediatric residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center, followed by a Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This was followed by an additional year of training in Advanced Pediatric Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Jensen is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology and board-eligible in Transplant Hepatology.
He is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Primary Children´s Medical Center. His primary clinical interests are in pediatric liver diseases including caring for children who need liver transplantation.
Dr. Jensen’s research interests include pediatric liver diseases as well as outcomes and quality research in transplantation and pediatric gastroenterology, with an emphasis in epidemiology.
