Dr. Michael Paul is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation and deals solely with the nonsurgical treatment of neck and back pain. After a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He was then accepted into the graduate program in Biomedical Sciences at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating fourth in his class. Continuing his education he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 and completed an Internal Medicine Internship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. Dr. Paul then went on to his Residency at Temple University Hospital where as Chief Resident he was awarded the James T. Demopoulos Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Outstanding Resident Award. Dr. Paul is specialty-trained in spine, which provides proficiency in the interventional use of injections for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. Currently he is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS), the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as other outstanding professional associations. While maintaining his position as a Clinical Instructor at Temple University Hospital and School of Medicine. Dr. Paul is active in teaching and mentoring in his children's sports including ice hockey and baseball. He also continues to play ice hockey and is an avid cyclist.
