Dr. Andrews is the Chief Cancer Officer for the WellStar Cancer Network. A native of Atlanta, he received his undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Subsequently, he completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Vanderbilt University. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. Dr. Andrews has been with Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. since 1991. He is active in the STAT Cancer Clinic as well as the Breast and GI malignancy conferences. He treats cancers of all types as well as hematology diseases.
