Dr. Smith earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Smith also completed a cardiology fellowship at the American Heart Association-Bugher Foundation Center for Molecular Biology in the Cardiovascular System at Baylor. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the South Carolina Medical Association and the Greenville County Medical Society. Special Interests include noninvasive nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
