My background includes a residency for two years at SFGH in Family Practice before completing my psychiatry training at UCSF and the San Francisco Center for Pschoanalysis. I am on faculty at SFCP and UCSF and have worked with many victims of political trauma and state violence, written and spoken extensively on issues of politics, culture and psychoanalysis in addition to my clinical work.
