Brief Intro

Mark Dorrough grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Brigham Young University in 1992.  He then graduated from  Creighton University's  School of Dentistry in 1996.   He worked for an oral surgeon for three years, and then in 1999 Mark started  his own practice at Troutdale Dental.  Two years ago, Mark became an avid runner.  In that time, he has run 4 marathons and 2 half-marathons.  He recently returned from a trip to Boston where he ran in the 2011 Boston Marathon. Mark loves the outdoors--hiking, backpacking, camping, and exploring Oregon's rivers; he also loves to study birds, forestry and nature.   A devoted father, Mark enjoys sharing his passion for nature and the outdoors with his seven children.  He has taught them to be lovers of nature and outdoor enthusiasts.
