Dr. Mark Kitamura, D.D.S., M.S.D., attended the University of Washington, School of Dentistry, graduating #1 in his Dental School class. He was then selected for the Master of Science in Orthodontics program which he completed in 1985. Dr. Kitamura is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association. Local memberships include: Hawaii Dental Association, Hawaii Society of Orthodontists, of which Dr. Kitamura is past president, and the Hawaii Orthodontic Study Club. Dr. Kitamura is also a former board member of the Board of Directors for the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Kitamura constantly updates his knowledge and skills by participating in continuing education courses. His commitment to life-long learning is just part of his dedication to delivering excellence to each and every patient. His attention to detail shows in the beautiful smiles and newfound self- confidence that patients leave his practice with. Dr. Kitamura is a devoted husband and loving father of five sons. He still manages to do a little golfing with friends, travel occasionally and regularly grow his faith.
