Dr. McDonald is a graduate of Lima Senior High School where he participated in sports and played football during his college years at Ball State University. He is a graduate of Ball State and the Ohio State University college of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Kentucky. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. McDonald is the President & CEO of the hospital and serves as President of the IOS Medical Staff. Dr. McDonald serves as the Team Physician for Bluffton University and Lima Senior High School.
