Dr. Gonze joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 1999. Dr. Gonze received his general surgery training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. There he received numerous awards and publication for his research efforts during his 6 years of training. An additional 2 years of specialized Vascular Surgery training was spent at the Ochsner Cinic in New Orleans. Here, Dr. Gonze received additional training in minimally invasive angioplasty and stent procedures as well as participated in clinical trials on endovascular aneurysm repair. Dr. Gonze is a member of a select group of physicians who travel the country training other physicians on how to perform endovascular aneurysm repair.
