Brief Intro

Dr. Tolins Mejia first came to Minnesota from New York to attend Outward Bound in Ely. She is a strong advocate of staying physically fit and has participated in marathons, triathlons, and bicycle rides. She often stops by Cardiac Rehab to lift weights and spend time with others who value exercise as part of their daily lives. With a special interest in reducing cardiac risk factors in women, Dr. Tolins Mejia has written numerous articles on cardiology issues for professional journals and has presented at the scientific meetings of the American Heart Association and American College of Physicians. Dr. Tolins Mejia has been recognized as Top Doctor in the Minneapolis-St Paul magazine and as Top Doctor Chosen by Women in Minnesota Monthly. She is a community speaker on public education regarding women's cardiac risk factors. She is the recipient of the William Carr, MD, Leadership Award.
