As far as I can remember, I always wanted to be a doctor. My favorite teddy bear was often covered with band aids because of the "shots" he got so he could stay healthy. The choice to enter medical profession was easy for me as my mother and my older sister are both pediatricians. There were many medical mysteries talked over at our dinner table. It was always fun to participate in those discussions. And now my older daughter is preparing to become a physician. That will make three generations of women physicians in our family.
