Dr. Hodges received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina in 1991. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina in 1996. He trained as a resident in family practice at the University of Wyoming in Casper, Wyoming in 1999 and later completed a fellowship in rural medicine through the Department of Family Medicine and the East Tennessee State School of Medicine in 2000. Prior to joining New Bern Family Practice & Urgent Care, Dr. Hodges served in private practice in Kinston and Greenville, North Carolina as an urgent care physician. He is board certified in Family Practice.
