Dr. Tejeda received her undergraduate degree; Cum Laude, from Boston University in 1981. She earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1985 and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at the Columbia University Medical Center Affiliated Programs. Dr. Tejeda has managed the Ob/Gyn clinic at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined The Center for Women's Health in 1990 and has been in private practice for over 20 years. Dr. Tejeda is active in the community and has served on many charitable boards in Waterbury and the Greater Waterbury area. She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
