Dr. Malati Harris, who started working at Lawrence Family Medicine & Obstetrics in June 2004, is a great asset to our practice. She attended Truman State University, where she earned her bachelor of science degree in biology. Originally from Chicago, she earned her medical degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and was a resident physician at Trinity Lutheran Hospital/ Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. During her residency, she was focused on obstetrics and very much enjoys this aspect of her career today. When not working, Malati enjoys spending time with son Mateo and daugher Liliana.
