Dr. Rizwi graduated with medical degree from Dow University Health Sciences. His internship was completed at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey. After which Dr. Rizwi spent 3 years of residency in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann University School of Medicine affiliated hospitals ,with one year as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. His Pulmonary fellowship for two years was at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. His Cardiovascular Fellowship was completed at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Milwaukee Heart Institute.
Subsequently he started practicing in Indian River County, Florida, where he was the first physician to perform Thrombolytic therapy (clot buster) in heart attack patients in the Emergency Room, which prevented damage to heart muscle and prolonged their survival. Dr. Rizwi is the only physician in Indian River and adjacent counties to specialize in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases Pulmonary Diseases. He is accepting new patients.
