Lyle Norwood earned his medical degree from the University of Washington, completed his orthopaedic residency at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals and completed a shoulder fellowship at the National Athletic Health Institute in Inglewood, California. While serving in the United States Army, Dr. Norwood was Chief of Orthopaedic Services at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Norwood holds memberships in numerous professional organizations. He specializes in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine with special emphasis on the shoulder and the knee.
