Brief Intro

Dr. Addonizio began the Pediatric Cardiac Transplant Program in 1984 and presently directs the Program for Pediatric Cardiomyopathy, Heart Failure and Transplantation. This program offers comprehensive multidisciplinary care to children from all over the world who have complex heart disease and / or are at high risk for transplantation. She is also part of the Columbia Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic and the New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center Cardiogenetics Program. Her research is in the area of transplantation, cardiomyopathy and heart failure in children.
