Brief Intro

Professionally, I serve as the Network Chairman of Oncology and the Director of Surgical Research -Bethlehem Campus for the St. Luke's University Health Network. Academically, my life has been focused on cancer once I learned that the immune system could eradicate the disease. Clinically,Ifocus on breast cancer. Over the years since I have been with St. Luke's, I have introducedadvances such assentinel lymph node surgery, advanced genomic testing and intraoperative radiation therapy for breast cancer. I have alsopublished papers in each of these areas. I am also astrong advocate for clinical trials in breast cancer. I enjoy taking time with each of my patients. It’s important to me that patients understand their cancer, the various treatment options available and the side effects associated with each of the treatments. I am dedicated to the community and spend time outside of work supporting cancer awareness and prevention events.
