Leandro Mena, MD, MPH, is Medical Director of the Crossroads Clinic (Jacksons HIV/STD clinic) and Open Arms Health Care Center, Associate Professor of Medicine with the division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and STD/HIV clinical and epidemiologic consultant to the Mississippi State Department of Health. He is board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine. He has over 13 years of experience conducting clinical and epidemiologic research in the field of sexually transmitted infections and HIV. Dr. Menas interests include the understanding dynamics of HIV transmission in gender and sexual minorities as well as the development and provision of quality health services to these populations.
