Lawrence Venet, DDS Dr. Venet received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2002. He then relocated to North Carolina to work as a dentist in the stateÂ´s Rural Health Services program. For two years, he worked for the underserved residents and migrant farm workers in Nash County, North Carolina. He found the experience to be very rewarding and a way to give back to the community. While working as an associate dentist, he became inspired to open his own practice. Shortly thereafter, he began to research the Garner area, and laid the groundwork to fulfill his dream. In December 2005, he opened the doors to Venet Family Dentistry. On ValentineÂ´s Day 2006, Dr. Venet married his dental school sweetheart, Dr. Tracie L. Vaughan. Together, they practice dentistry and run the day to day operations of Venet Family Dentistry. Dr. Venet is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. He stays current with the latest trends in general dentistry by participating in numerous continuing education courses throughout the year and subscribing to several professional journals. Dr. Venet resides in Clayton, North Carolina with his wife. His interests include fishing, boating, golfing and gardening.
