Dr. Lloyd is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery, being one of the first physicians in Michigan to perform laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Lloyd was recognized as one of the region's most respected general surgeons in Hour Detroit magazine's annual "Top Docs" ranking in 2004,2005, and 2008. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He specializes in thyroid and parathyroid surgeries, gallbladder, all hernia's, melanoma's, lesions, breast biopsies, and lap bands.
