Brief Intro

Dr. Gaar graduated summa cum laude with a BS from the University of Florida and earned her MD from UF College of Medicine. She completed an internship at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge before completing her dermatology residency at LSU, New Orleans. Dr. Gaar has a special focus on the treatment of skin cancer and stigmatizing skin diseases. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is certified by NccPA. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, and Christian Medical & Dental Associations. She has a passion for mission trips, ballet, hiking, and CrossFit.
