Meet Dr. Kristina Britton:
Dr. Britton, a board-certified dermatologist and a native of the Brainerd Lakes Area, is excited to offer dermatologic services to central and greater Minnesota.
Dr. Britton's Medical Interests:
Dr. Britton offers medical and surgical dermatology services, including skin cancer screening, mole checks, and treatment for acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, warts, and nail diseases. She performs in-office excisions, mole removals as well as skin and nail biopsies.
Dr. Britton is passionate about diagnosing and treating all aspects of dermatology, including hair, skin, and nails. She welcomes patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. She strives to educate her patients about their skin conditions, which enables patients to be active partners in their own health care.
Dr. Britton's Educational Background:
Dr. Britton received her Bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University in 2004. She completed medical school and obtained her Doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in 2009. She completed a one-year Transitional Program at Hennepin County Medical Center in 2010 and a three-year dermatology residency at the Marshfield Clinic/St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI in 2013. She has been practicing in the central Minnesota area for over seven years.
Out Of The Office:
Dr. Britton lives in the country with her husband and three Great Danes. She enjoys spending time outdoors, including gardening, fishing, and hiking. She has two grown sons, one that lives in the Lakes Area and one who is currently serving in the military.
