For over 25 years, Dr. McGee has worked in east Idaho as an Ear, Nose, & Throat physician. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology with special training in Otolaryngology Allergies.
Dr. McGee went to medical school at the University of Washington s School of Medicine and later completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, where he was the Chief Resident. He is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the Idaho Medical Association.
In Latin doctor means teacher, and Dr. McGee takes this role very seriously. He believes being a teacher and educating his patients is just as important as treating them. He also makes a special effort to keep up with the latest technology and regularly participates in continuing education courses. This, combined with his extensive experience, helps make him an outstanding physician.
One of the special cases Dr. McGee had the privilege to work on, had to do with a young girl who was involved in a terrible car accident. The road rash from being ejected from the vehicle was so bad, that it had taken off her eyebrow. Using the other eyebrow as a pattern, he removed hair from the nap of her neck and rebuilt a new eyebrow for her during the 12 hour procedure. The surgery was a success and allowed her to regain her confidence. With that new confidence, she later went on to become Idaho Junior Miss.
Dr. McGee is married and has 5 children. He enjoys playing the keyboard in a band with other physicians. He also likes skiing, tennis, golf, and spending time with his family.
