Dr. Keyoumars Soltani is an expert in surgery for dermatological conditions, including laser surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery. He specializes in the treatment of skin cancers, graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and blistering conditions.Dr. Soltani's research interests include the immunopathology of dermatological diseases. He has an interest in the study of Merkel cell carcinoma--a rare, but malignant, tumor with high potential for metastasis. Additionally, as a member of a basic science research team, he is studying new tumor markers in non-melanoma skin cancers.
