About Us Dr. Spees began his dental career in 1981 when he graduated from Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne as a dental laboratory technician, earning the Jelenco award for excellence.Â After his graduation from dental school, he completed courses at The Dawson Institute for Occlusal Equilibration and the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry (also referred to as LVI). Dr. Spees has also attended cosmetic courses given by such noted clinicians as Dr. Bill Dorfman of â€œExtreme Makeoverâ€ and Dr. Larry Rosenthal, New York Cityâ€™s â€œcelebrity dentist.â€ Born and raised in Zionsville, Dr. Spees is the youngest of 5 boys. His father, Dr. Donald Spees. practiced dentistry for 40 years, retiring in 1994. His mother, Jerrie, was a teacher and guidance counselor in the Zionsville School system for 20 years.
