Dr. Kenneth Kranz provides consultation and a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients with problems of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), gallbladder, and pancreas. He joined IMG in 1991.
Dr. Kranz received a physical therapy certificate from New York University in 1974. He graduated from New York Medical College in 1980. He completed an internship in medicine with the Tripler Army Medical Center and a residency in internal medicine with Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center.
He also completed educational programs in liver transplantation at the University of Nebraska and medical acupuncture at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Kranz is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and holistic medicine and currently serves as clinical assistant professor at the University of Wyoming.
He is affiliated with a host of organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
He has a special interest in holistic medicine, acupuncture and clinical research.
Dr. Kranz is a competitive amateur golfer who has competed in the region and a gourmet cook. He also enjoys family camping and hiking trips and Alpine skiing. Discovering quality wines at small wineries has become a recent interest.
He has been an instructor of T'ai Chi as well as Reiki.
