As a physician treating patients with kidney disease for more than three decades, and as the chair of our hospitals Ethics Committee, Dr. Kornetsky understands the importance of encouraging patients to plan ahead for the possibility of needing lifeprolonging medical procedures. Over the past decade, he has devoted one Saturday morning per month to educating local community members about the importance of advance directives and to helping them fill out the forms. Board certified in nephrology and internal medicine, Dr. Kornetsky has a passion for helping patients. His lifelong dedication to providing thorough and effective education and counseling is aimed at empowering our patients and their families to effectively manage disease and maintain overall wellness.
