Kenneth Monson, M.D., FACR, is a radiation oncologist for Broward Health. Dr. Monson received his medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in general and therapeutic radiology at Chicago Wesley Memorial Hospital. He earned his bachelors degree in geology from Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin and completed his post graduate work in geo physics from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Monson is board certified in therapeutic radiology and has served as the director of radiation oncology for Broward Health since 1976. He also serves as the cancer liaison physician for the Commission on Cancer at Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health North, and is the vice chairman of the Cancer Committee at those centers. Dr. Monson is an active member and past president of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncologists and the Florida Division of the American Cancer Society and an active executive committee member of the Florida Dialogue on Cancer. He is a current member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncologists and the American College of Radiation Oncologists.
