I am a native Californian (born in Pasadena) and, aside from four years in New York City attending medical school at Cornell University, have lived in Southern California my entire life, including college at nearby Pomona College and residency/fellowship training at UCLA. I elected to specialize in pediatric hematology-oncology because of the way the patients and families inspire me and the intellectual fulfillment of constantly exploring for superior treatments.
